This lesson is an excellent introduction to the world of work: How do people choose their careers? Are there certain careers for certain people? Do I need to know now what I want to be when I grow up?
These college and career readiness activities help students understand that careers are more than just job titles – they include specific daily tasks, require different education/training, are connected to a lifestyle, and take place in specific work settings.
