Description
When students struggle with confidence or feeling good about themselves, they also struggle with being socially, academically, and behaviorally successful. These research-based self-esteem activities form a group counseling curriculum to improve students’ sense of self. Plus, they are creative and hands-on, which makes them more fun for everyone!
This curriculum supports students whose lack of self-confidence and/or low self-esteem causes internalizing or externalizing concerns. It serves as an ASCA-aligned tier 2 social/emotional/behavioral intervention inside MTSS, though you can also use it with individuals or pull specific activities to use in one-off sessions.
While most sessions include an arts/crafts component, very minimal additional supplies are needed (and they’re all mess-free)!
