Executive Functioning Activities Task Initiation, Time Management, and Improving Focus

Looking for an executive functioning intervention for your 3rd-5th graders? This activity pack is focused on three connected executive functioning skills:

• Task Initiation – Students match up task initiation “boosters” with scenarios where getting started feels hard
• Time Management – Students play a board game to practice understanding, discussing, and applying different strategies for using their time wisely.
• Focus – Students choose which strategy would best help them stay focused (or get their attention back on track) after facing different distractions.
