Description
Students love acting and watching each other act! These story scripts make learning about time management more engaging. This product is a set of stories about how three different students spend their time when given an assignment. As the teacher/counselor reads them aloud, student volunteers act out the story and color in the time sheet to show how time passes.
After each student’s story, ask “How did this student choose how to spend their time” (Fun Fred/Francine – whatever was fun and not boring, Easy Edward/Evelyn – whatever was easy and not hard, Working Wayne/Wendy – whatever it took to do the job with their best effort).
These stories help to make the concept of “time management” more concrete, especially as many of the students are able to see themselves in the examples. This product includes three story scripts, the time sheet, and an exit ticket.
