Description
Want to help your kindergarteners and first graders develop better listening skills? This resource is a developmentally appropriate set of listening activities to help them: learn why listening is important, learn how to be an awesome listener, and practice listening at school. It’s research-based social-emotional learning created specifically with primary students in mind.
Use these activities in one longer listening lesson, one or two shorter listening lessons, or spread out in shorter bursts throughout the week. Designed for teachers delivering SEL in their classrooms or school counselors teaching guidance lessons.
