Description
Want to help your kindergarteners and first graders to show perseverance in their learning? This resource is a developmentally appropriate set of perseverance activities to help them: learn how to use self-talk when they’re stuck, push through work that is “hard” or “boring”, and practice talking back to their brains. It’s research-based social-emotional learning created specifically with primary students in mind.
Use these activities in one longer perseverance lesson, one or two shorter lessons on self-talk, or spread out in shorter bursts throughout the week. Designed for teachers delivering SEL in their classrooms or school counselors teaching guidance lessons.
